How Photogrammetry Works
The photogrammetry system overcomes the limitations of intraoral scanners and impressions by obtaining the location of the implant abutments through a collection of data taken from each picture. It generates director vectors of the exact position of the scan bodies in relation to one another with the help of reference points. The scanner acquires images extraorally, which minimizes the influence of saliva, blood, and humid environments on accuracy.
